Kaspersky Lab India along with VMware recently hosted an exclusive evening for CIOs and their families to meet and interact with the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar. The event was held at Hotel Four Seasons in Mumbai and saw over 55 of India’s leading CIOs in attendance with their families who came to meet Kaspersky Lab’s global brand ambassador.
Present on the occasion were Mr. Maxim Mitrokhin, Director of Operations, Kaspersky Lab – Asia Pacific, Mr. Altaf Halde, Managing Director (South Asia) Kaspersky Lab India and the VMware India management team.
Kaspersky Lab’s virtualization security solution offers VMware customers with a choice of agentless or light-agent protection. The protection and performance benefits of Kaspersky Lab’s light agent solution offer the “best of both worlds” over existing agentless and agent-based virtualization security models. Kaspersky Lab’s new Light Agent solution brings extra security features, including application controls and web usage policy enforcement, to virtualization environments.
Commenting on the occasion, BS Nagarajan, Technical Director, VMware India and SAARC said, “Getting a chance to meet Sachin up close and personal was a dream come true for many of our customers and their families. It was inspiring to hear the legend speak.”
“Driven by the research of our security experts, we’re on a mission to educate businesses about virtualization security risks, and provide them with options for protecting their network,” said Maxim Mitrokhin, Director of Operations, Kaspersky Lab, Asia-Pacific. “There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution for any network, so by offering a combination of virtualization security options for the three largest virtual platforms in the world, Kaspersky Lab is ensuring our customers stay protected while getting the most from their virtualization investment.”
